Focus of interest is on factors and mechanisms that influence beneficial use of technology in the context of care. In this field, special focus of research is acceptance of technology in health care, from the point of view of care recipients and health care professionals, as well as implementation processes within health care organisations.
The second line of research concerns user involvement in the design and development of assistive technology and the improvement thereof.
The third line of research is focussed on local, multidisciplinary organised care within small communities of practice and barriers and challenges for the success of these communities. Specific expertise is present in the area of older adults and dementia.
